Dr. Henny Bos and Loes Van Gelderen presented "A Longitudinal Study of Planned Lesbian Families" at the APA 117th Annual Convention in Toronto (Canada).
1. (1/21/09) Dr. Gartrell was a guest on the longest running LGBT radio program in Madison WI. The show originally aired on WORT 89.9 FM Community Radio.
2. (6/18/08) Dr. Gartrell was a guest on Boston's NPR news show On Point: Inside Gay Unions.

Dr. Nanette Gartrell has been named the recipient of the Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award for 2008 by the Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Issues (Division 44, American Psychological Association).
